There is so much to
experience in Cozumel Mexico that sometimes you
don't want just one type of experience. Or
perhaps you want to go fishing, but your family
wants to go snorkeling on Cozumel's beautiful
coral reefs. It's with you in mind that we
offer our fishing and snorkeling combo trips in
Cozumel.
You'll start your day out
fishing, and then when you've had your fill,
it's time to jump in and enjoy snorkeling on
some of Cozumel's finest coral reefs, and some
of the bluest, clearest water anywhere.
You can decide how much time you want to do of
each activity, and our trips are private, so you
won't have to share the water with a large group
of people. This makes for a nice and
relaxing day, fun for the whole family.
Your crew
Our captains and crews are
among the most experienced in Cozumel,
participating in all the tournaments, and
holding many trophies. The boat is
private, just you and your crew will be onboard.
Methods
When deep sea sportfishing
for billfish and other large game fish, we'll be
trolling, dragging lines in tow. All the
big fish are caught in this fashion. The
bottom drops of to 2,500 feet deep just
offshore, and the reefs form a natural barrier
to keep the game fish in close, where their
feeding grounds are. This makes fishing in
Cozumel very productive, as we can focus on this
narrow channel, always staying within sight of
shore, which is great for cutting down travel
time.
The Fish
Marlin, Sailfish, Wahoo, Mahi
Mahi and Tuna are all filling the waters of
Cozumel during the spring and summer months,
while grouper, snapper, jack, barracuda,
amberjack, and yellowtail are out to play during
the winter months.
