See two of the Riviera Maya's
major attractions in one great tour from
Cozumel! Start out with a tour of the
Tulum Mayan Ruins, the famous walled city of the
Mayas. You'll have your socks knocked off
by the dazzlingly beauty of the Caribbean Sea,
just below the ruins site. You can hire a
guide to give you an expert guided tour of the
ruins, or you can explore on your own if you
like.
The next stop is Aktun Chen,
a true adventure to the hidden Mayan world.
This subterranean cavern, also called a
cenote, features amazing displays of
stalactites and stalagmites, throughout it's 600
meter length. At Aktun Chen, a tour guide
will take you through the cave, and explain to
you about the geology, and fascinating history
of the area. All around the cave exists a
jungle wilderness, where you can see spider
monkeys, wild boars, white tail deer, and a wide
variety of local tropical birds.

A private guide can be hired at
the Tulum entrance gate for about $30.00 USD.

includes a one-hour and fifteen minute guided tour
of the cave.
There is a small restaurant on
site at Aktun Chen.
