Q: I'M ON A CRUISE SHIP - CAN I TAKE YOUR
CLASSES?
A: If you're on a cruise ship, you can take our Discover Scuba
Diving resort course, and also a few Advanced specialties like Nitrox,
but that's about it. You just don't have the time necessary to
do any more than that.
Q: WHAT KIND OF VISIBILITY CAN I EXPECT?
A: The average visibility in Cozumel is an incredible 150 feet
(45 meters). It is not at all uncommond for the visibilities to
reach a staggering 200 feet (61 meters). The water color and clarity
here is truly stunning.
Q: I'VE NEVER DIVED BEFORE, AND I'M NOT
SURE I'LL LIKE IT. WHAT SHOULD I DO?
A: We recommend you try our Discover Scuba Diving course - you'll
get the feel for breathing underwater, and experience diving, without
the expense and time of a full course. After you've tried it,
if you like it then sign up for the Open Water course to get certified
to scuba dive for life.
Q: WHAT IS THE WATER TEMPERATURE IN COZUMEL?
A: The Caribbean waters of Cozumel are wonderfully warm all year
round. The temperatures vary between 77° F in the winter to 82°
F in the summer months. In the summer, you won't even need a wetsuit
except for very deep dives. In the winter, a shorty or 3mm wetsuit
is recommended.
Q: ARE YOUR INSTRUCTORS PADI CERTIFIED?
A: Yes. We offer a full range of PADI, NAUI and SSI training
courses, from our resort course and Open Water Training through
advanced courses like Nitrox and Advanced Open Water.
