Cruise Passengers: Due to its location on the mainland, we recommend cruise passengers to choose one of our other dolphins swims located in Cozumel.
When: Tuesday to Sunday at 9:00 AM, 11:00 AM, and 1:00 PM.
Where: Meet at the Dolphin Center in Puerto Aventuras, about 20 minutes south of Playa del Carmen on the mainland.
To Reach: Take the Cozumel Ferry to Playa del Carmen, then a taxi to Puerto Aventuras. Round-trip Transportation from the Ferry Pier in Playa del Carmen is also available for $10.00 per participant and $15.00 per observer, if requested in advance, paid in cash on the day of the tour. Total travel time is about 1 hour each way from Cozumel. All our other dolphins swims take place conveniently in Cozumel.
How Long: 4 Hours approximately.

Kids: Ages 1 and up. Kids' prices apply to ages 6-12 years. Kids 1-5 years are free. Kids under 10 years old or under 4’ 6” tall (140 cm) must be accompanied by a paying adult (2 adults if under 4 feet (120cm) tall). Kids will perform age appropriate activities.

OUR ADVICE:
This is a truly unique and wonderful experience.
You do have to take the ferry over, so make sure
you have enough time, but if you do it's really
a once-in-a-lifetime chance to actually swim with
manatees!
Don't Forget:

Restrictions: Pregnant women are not allowed to do the dolphin swim. No sunscreen or jewelry allowed for the safety of the dolphins. Snorkeling is dependent on conditions. If the water is rough, then we will cruise but no snorkel.
Location: Puerto Aventuras
is about 10 minutes south of Playa del Carmen in
the Mayan Riviera. Just take the Cozumel Ferry
from downtown to Playa del Carmen, and take a taxi
to Pto Aventuras.

will need to take the ferry over on your
own to meet this tour. Check with your ship to see which pier you are arriving at. Taxis are lined up waiting for you as you get off the ship. Very easy. Should cost only about $8.00 USD from Intl and Puerta Maya piers. |
