Xel Ha Park is
one of the most popular tourist attractions in
all of Mexico, and once you're here it's easy to
see why. Xel-Ha is the world's premier
natural aquarium, carved by the Gods centuries
before. This enchanting lagoon is a true
taste of paradise, where you can relax in
hammocks on the beach, snorkel with tropical
fish in the warm, tranquil waters, float lazily
on an innertube throughout the natural waterways
and channels of the subterranean waterways, and
even swim with dolphins, a lifelong memory.
Xel-Ha is only available as an all-inclusive,
which is fitting for a place like this.
All food and drinks throughout the day from any
of the five restaurants and bars is included in
your admission. There are a lot of things
to do at Xel-Ha, a wonderful day!
Q:I'M ON A CRUISE SHIP - CAN I
VISIT XEL HA? A: Yes! Xel-Ha is on the mainland, so you'll need to
ride the passenger ferry
over to Playa del Carmen, but once there, our Xel-Ha Express will
take you directly to the park, where you can spend the whole day.
When it's time to come back, we'll take you directly to the pier.
One low price for your whole group, without the hassle of finding a
Q:WHICH IS BETTER, XCARET OR XEL-HA? A: There is no answer to this question - both are absolutely
wonderful, and we highly recommend both. However, we like
Xcaret more for families, as there are more attractions like animals
to see, etc. and more activities to keep the kids entertained.
Xel-Ha we recommend more for adults, as it's more laid back and with
better snorkeling. Xcaret is about a half-hour closer to the
ferry pier, so that is something to keep in mind.
