Join us for a trip to Akumal,
Riviera Maya, and the natural oasis of Yal-Ku
lagoon. Yal-Ku is well known in the
Riviera Maya as one of the finest shore
snorkeling locations in all of the Yucatan.
The water here is always tranquil, even when the
waters at sea are choppy, and combined with
water between 6 and 15 feet deep, this makes for
near-perfect snorkeling!
At Yal-Ku, Sea Turtles are
common sightings, as well as a variety of rays,
barracudas and other fun undersea inhabitants,
as well as an exciting array of tropical fish.
After we dry off, our travels
will take us to an underground grotto, where
limestone stalactites and stalagmites abound,
and we can snorkel in the crystal-clear fresh
water. This hidden cenote is
seldom-visited, keeping it fresh and amazing!
