Our Advice: If you have an extra day during your
visit to Cozumel, especially if you have kids with you, we
definitely recommend a visit to Xcaret. It's close,

FAQ's
Q: I'M ON A CRUISE SHIP - CAN I
VISIT XCARET?
A: Yes! Xcaret is on the mainland, so you'll need to
ride the passenger ferry
over to Playa del Carmen, but once there, our Xcaret Express will
take you directly to the park, where you can spend the whole day.
When it's time to come back, we'll take you directly to the pier.
One low price for your whole group, without the hassle of finding a
taxi.
Q: IS THE NIGHT SHOW WORTH STAYING FOR?
A: We think so. The night show is fun for the whole
family, and it's free with your park admission.
Q: IS THERE AN ALL-INCLUSIVE PACKAGE AT
XCARET?
A: Not at this time. There is a
plus package which
includes lunch, however.
Q: WHICH IS BETTER, XCARET OR XEL-HA?
A: There is no answer to this question - both are absolutely
wonderful, and we highly recommend both. However, we like
Xcaret more for families, as there are more attractions like animals
to see, etc. and more activities to keep the kids entertained.
Xel-Ha we recommend for adults, as it's more laid back and with
better snorkeling. Xcaret is about a half-hour closer to the
ferry pier, so that is something to keep in mind.
