There is no funnier creature in the ocean than sea lions. They are always playful and silly, loving to have fun. Now in Cozumel, we offer an opportunity for you to play with them in the water, pose for pictures with them, learn about them, and of course to watch them up close doing all kinds of funny tricks for you.
After your swim, you can also see the sea lions put on a show with many amazing tricks, then spend the rest of the day at Chankanaab Park relaxing at the beach or snorkeling. A fun excursion in Cozumel!
Sea Lion Discovery Highlights
- Free entrance to famous Chankanaab Park, where you can enjoy the beach and snorkeling before and/or after your dolphin swim (park hours 9AM - 5PM).
- Play in the water with silly sea lions, including jumps, posing for photos, swim by, sing and dance!
- After the swim, purchase a keepsake photo of you with your dolphin, or a video of your actual sea lion experience to remember forever!
Cruise Passengers: Yes! This tour makes a great shore excursion.
When: Monday through Saturday at 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM. Get here early and/or stay late to enjoy snorkeling and sunbathing at Chankanaab Park!
Where: Taxi to the Dolphin Center at Chankanaab National Park on Cozumel.
How Long: Sea Lion Encounter is 45 Minutes. You can use the park facilities all day - 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Restrictions: Pregnant women are not allowed to do the dolphin swim.
Location: Chankanaab Park is located about 10 minutes south of downtown, at Km 9.6. Just take a taxi from your hotel or ship pier to the park - very easy.
